in June 2020 we learned about a harassment campaign that eBay initiated against EcommerceBytes. Let me stop right now and say that I was shocked and disgusted at what I read. Below is the full release:

Reading this information reinforced my belief that we need to become independent of companies like eBay and Amazon. This behavior is unacceptable.

This is the event that ignited the idea that we need to stand on our own. Our eBay store normally has 600 items available. We’ve already migrated our LEGO items to our Brick Owl Store. We currently have less then 400 items on eBay and hope to remove another chunk of merchandise before the end of the summer. We can’t do that without you though. The truth is that eBay has a very big audience and if we closed our eBay Store it would be the end of Hobby MonstroCity within the month. If you like what you see here spread the word!
